A shot from the latest June 2012 issue of “TATTOO” with my 4 page spread and interview :)
I talk about my tattoos, the meaning behind some of them (or lack thereof!), what it’s like to be a tattooed model, and my dreams of living out of a van. Go check it out!

One of my new all time favorite pictures of myself.
That moment when you admire someone for a very long time, and then you meet them, and they start to love you back? That moment, that one, is very priceless and beautiful.

I would love to come back to New York and just PLAY for a week with all the awesome photographers I’ve admired forever (and some old favorites!) that I had absolutely zero time to shoot with this trip due to crazy busy-ness. That would be cool. But I love money and the (secret) workaholic in me would probably be unable to pass up the ol’ grindstone. It’s cool to bring home bank and all, but when I go long amounts of time shooting nothing for myself, I get burnt out WAY faster. When you do what you love,  you need to formulate a balance between fun and work, or else you wouldn’t love what you do any more, and it would just be work!
And by no means am I “always all about money”. Though generally that is quite true considering I need to survive and all, I think that’s just what people accuse you of in a negative manner when they’re bitter that you won’t shoot with THEM for free. What a wasteful emotion - I’m certainly never offended when the coin flips and I approach a photographer, and recieve the same response. Sometimes, yes, I need to create. Most of the time though, I just need money. Unashamed :)

“Bonnie and Clyde” | ManchesterI found this bra in an abandoned house in the town we lived in, Monessen, Pennsylvania… it was an abandoned HOARDER house we would regularly loot for goodies… found a whole box of this exact same bra, same size, color, everything. I took like 10, but only 2 didn’t have dry rot instead of them. I’d always regularly loot all the clothing I could carry, all still wrapped in plastic and with the price tags attatched, looking like they were bought in the 50s… almost looted a clawfoot bathtub one time, but the “floor” was literally JUNK stacked halfway to the ceiling, and the deck to the entrance window had rotten, missing planks, so getting it out was declared far too hazardous… I would like to rescue that tub one day, still…
It’s funny how a picture or an article of clothing can take you back to the recesses of your memories…

Fun day was fun! On the hood of a swank dia de los muertos 80s airbrushed art limo trunk. Yep.
