Jerry Bennett | Manchester | Wardrobe by Alex London
The most physically uncomfortable shoot I’ve probably ever done, but still one of the most gratifying. It’s outrageously important to me, in my “career” to diversify as a model and insist on, when possible and appropriate, creating images that go beyond “oh look, there’s a cute chick with tattoos”. Creatively as an artist, it’s a pleasure to partake in a project where each aspect of an image equally shines, photography, lighting, wardrobe, makeup, composition and subject…each part important, no aspect overpowering the other but all necessary and harmonious, a picture that’s not about “the model” - it’s about EVERYTHING. That feels quite lovely.
